The pacing can be pretty slow at times and there were definitely parts where I felt bored, but DAMN… the payoff is SO worth it. The ending alone completely changed my opinion of the game. What an incredible experience. 10/10.

This is probably the most engaging out of all the JRPGs I have played story wise. Graphics might not be too stunning, gameplay and combat is really good and most of all the story and writing is really on another level.

I liked the combat, was good. The story goes at a pretty relaxing pace, but that might be because I stopped to talk to all the npcs after completing main story missions. I'm excited for the second chapter remake.

I can't simply express how mach this game means to me, can't ask for a better remake. Do recommend for every jrpg enjoyer.
