boy the ending sucks. levels drag on between fights, you fight a few bosses, then... done. Feels like the only "rush" here was the development. Other than the art style and soundtrack there's really not much here.

This is a good game. It isn't a great game. The first half feels like a tutorial and won't let you at the game. The platforming is filler. The combat is nice. The story is the same naive stuff that fills gaming.

What is called today "millennial writing", is the weakest part of the game, it has everything you can expect from something described by this term. While this game is mostly okay I now think it's clearly way overrated because of reasons I already stated.
