It's fine, I guess. There's a lot of content to explore, so you will probably never have nothing to do. Much of the playerbase acts like there is only one thing to do though - running in circles and killing mobs, and then fishing at night. Don't listen to them.

A whole lot to learn as with any other open-world rpg, but very fun finding everything out. Beware that it's very grindy though and while gear progression is straightforward, later midgame to endgame requires time for you to move inches.
